The age we live in is not exactly a safe one. And I mean this in so many different ways. There is crime sweeping across our world on every single day. Not to mention all the starvation, pain and disease, but this is not exactly what I’m talking about. I am referring to something a little less tangible. Hey, you may even consider it to be invisible. It’s just one of those sly evils that slip in when we’ve let our guard down. Yeah, you may know by now that I’m speaking on identity theft. This is becoming more and more of a problem as time progresses on. How bad will it be 20 or 30 years from now? Yikes, I hope the problem doesn’t increase. I think it’s time we all took it upon ourselves to read contemporary articles on identity theft. It could prevent you from ever having to deal with this affliction.

Someone somewhere on this planet apparently acquired a service in her name. She only found out because she requested a free credit report. I guess she decided to do this at just the right time. Now she that she reported it, it’s being investigated. The downside is that it has already affected her overall credit. Isn’t that horrible? Just think, someone out there can snag your valuable information and use it to their advantage and hurt you at the same time. Doesn’t this make you furious? See if anything is out of order. Make sure no one is using your name and social security number for their personal gain.
